The practice
Studio
Turnkey Architects Limited is a locally registered architectural firm, owned and managed by Tanzanian registered architects. We work from the centre of Dar es Salaam and build across the country.

Small on purpose.
Registered since 2013.
The company was registered under the Companies Act No. 12 of 2012 and entered on the register of the Architects & Quantity Surveyors Registration Board in 2013. Both directors had already been in practice for several years before that, and both remain hands-on today.
The practice sits in the city centre at Avalon House, at the junction of Sokoine Drive and Zanaki Street, next to the City Council and the BRT stop — deliberately close to the authorities, clients and consultants we deal with weekly.
We keep the team small and bring in a consortium of engineers and quantity surveyors project by project. That gives a client the responsiveness of a studio with the coverage of a much larger firm, without paying for capacity that isn't being used.

Day-to-day leadership of the practice and principal client contact.

Studio & site coordination
Design studio coordinator, project manager and site coordinator run individual projects through the office and on site.
Studio team
Assistant architects, landscape and interior designers, technicians and support staff produce the drawings, schedules and models.
