We draw
what gets
built.
Turnkey Architects Limited designs schools, hospitals, workplaces, markets and homes across Tanzania — and stays on site until the last certificate is signed.
01 / The practice
Small studio.
Serious buildings.
The two principals who take your brief are the same people who sign the drawings, chair the site meetings and issue the certificates. There is no layer between the client and the person doing the work.
Since 2013 we have worked across more than fifteen regions of Tanzania — from a four-classroom teaching block to the master plan for an entire training campus. What ties that range together is a habit of resolving the difficult parts early: the servicing, the phasing, the sun angles, the money.

04 / Capability
Eight services,
one appointment.
Engineering and quantity surveying come in through long-standing sub-consultants — you still deal with one team and one point of responsibility.
05 / Method
Brief to handover,
in eight stages.
You always know which stage you are in, what it produces, and what has to be decided before the next one starts.
06 / Standing
Registered.
Accountable.
The credentials a public tender asks for — and the ones a private client should ask for too.
